Volunteering at the ULICA Foundation
Create change with us – support, grow and inspire others.
Join Skillful Ambassadors.
Volunteers are the heart of the ULICA Foundation. It is thanks to them that our workshops, educational programmes and initiatives for children and young people can truly change lives – strengthen psychological resilience, develop a sense of agency and community, and help young people discover their potential.
Volunteering at the Foundation is not only a chance to help others– it is also a space for your own growth. We learn how to support children and young people, how to create engaging educational materials, how to work in a group and develop our psychosocial competences. In our work we combine a passion for children's development with a mission to make the “impossible” possible.
By joining us as our Volunteer - Skillful Ambassador, you have a real impact on children's lives while developing yourself – your skills, empathy and competences that will stay with you for life.
Volunteering goals:
- Strengthening the psychological resilience of children, young people and volunteers,
- Developing the social and personal competences of volunteers/interns.
- Involving participants in real Foundation projects, including creating educational, animation and promotional materials.

The basic form of volunteering is on-site volunteering. In exceptional situations, it is possible to get involved remotely, subject to prior individual agreement with the volunteer supervisor.
Skillful Interns student internships take place on-site only, which allows direct contact with children and young people.
Students gain practical experience, learning high standards of work, ethics and responsibility – competences essential for future psychologists, educators and social workers.
It is a space where personal growth goes hand in hand with a real impact on young people's lives.

- Supervisor support – mentoring, access to working tools, ongoing consultations and day-to-day help with challenges in working with children and in creating materials.
Being a volunteer at the ULICA Foundation is more than giving your time – it is a chance to create a world in which the impossible becomes possible. Every meeting with children and young people, every moment spent preparing workshops or motivational materials has a real impact on their lives.
Volunteering gives you a sense of agency – you see how your commitment helps young people grow stronger, discover their own talents and build psychological resilience. This experience teaches patience, empathy and listening skills, but it also shows how much we can achieve together, in a community of people with shared values and passion.
For volunteers, it is also a space for personal and professional growth. Every workshop, every piece of online support or creative project you take part in develops your competences: communication, teamwork, creativity, digital skills, and the ability to cope in situations that call for flexibility and courage.
But most importantly, volunteering adds meaning to everyday life. It gives you the feeling that your actions matter, that you are part of something bigger – a mission that inspires children and young people to believe in themselves and discover that even what seems impossible can become possible.

Neo Energy Group.
Neo Energy Group, as one of the leading developers and operators of renewable energy sources (RES), is continuously involved in sustainable development activities. The company also takes part in social initiatives that not only promote the well-being of children and young people but also build their psychological resilience – a protective shield and a key element of their health and prosperity. By supporting the ULICA Foundation and its Centre, NEG actively contributes to the development of ecopsychology and Dr Ben Furman's ideas. It also shows that responsible business and sustainable development mean investing not only in technology but also in people – especially the young generation. The innovation that is part of Neo Energy Group's DNA is also visible in the work of the Foundation and the concept it promotes, which uses modern tools to rebuild and strengthen the psychological resilience of the youngest. As a result, children's problems begin to be seen differently. They become processes of learning new skills that help overcome difficulties and initiate the process of desired change. Making these initiatives available to local communities is further proof that Neo Energy Group understands and takes very seriously its social role, which has the power to drive positive change. By supporting the ULICA Foundation, the company joins forces with those working for a better tomorrow, in which every child – regardless of where they live – has the chance to develop healthily in harmony with the world around them
